Pink Diamonds

Pink Diamonds

Pink Diamonds are one of the rarest and most valued gemstones in the world. The Pink Diamonds used in our collections are natural stones sourced from Western Australia.

The pink hue of a diamond is caused by the presence of boron atoms in the diamond's crystal structure. The higher the concentration of boron, the deeper the pink colour will be.

The beautiful pink hue of a diamond makes it an extremely appealing stone for jewellery. However, the colour of a diamond can be highly variable depending on the amount of boron present in the crystal structure. The deeper the pink is, the more valuable and desirable the stone will be. In general, diamonds that contain less than 0.20 parts per million of boron will be colourless. The deeper the pink, generally speaking, the higher the price will be since it is a rarer occurrence in diamonds.

As with many other aspects of diamond evaluation, there are no set guidelines by which to judge the value and desirability of a pink diamond. However, if you are considering purchasing a pink diamond, it is important to be aware of the factors that can influence its value. First and foremost, it is crucial to note whether or not the colour is natural. Although some companies will artificially enhance a diamond's colour by applying heat treatment, this should be considered undesirable as it naturally decreases the value of the stone.

Pieces from our handcrafted collection are often adorned with Australian Yellow and Champagne diamonds, delivering the statement jewellery you can confidently wear every day.
